Vidur Dhanda, President & founder

Vidur Dhanda is the founding president of Epistemic. Vidur brings over twenty years of professional software experience to his role at Epistemic, where he oversees Epistemic's strategic direction and is the Chief Software Architect.

Prior to founding Epistemic, Vidur was a consultant to many of the most respected global financial services institutions such as Salomon Brothers, Barclays Bank, Fidelity Investments and Putnam Investments. While a senior in college, he started his professional career at John Hancock as the Systems Manager of their Gabriele, Hueglin & Cashman subsidiary.

Epistemic was born out of Vidur's desire to empower business users to self-serve their decision-making inputs. The Epistemic Analytic Visibility Suite achieved an architectural breakthrough by merging varied decision support techniques and on-the-fly data integration into an easy-to-use, visual platform for decision-makers.

Vidur received his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Boston University and an MS in Computer Science from New York University's Courant Institute. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY and an International Baccalaureate from Pearson College, BC, Canada.

Vidur is currently focused on WAIN Street -- a startup that was incubated at Epistemic.
